It is well known that dancing is great for overall health and wellbeing, this is true for both children and adults! Staying active can help you feel so much better physically and mentally, not to mention the fun social side of coming to classes. Adult dance classes could benefit you in so many ways  and there are many different advantageous approaches to learning new or previously learned skills. Here are a few reasons you may want to consider coming along to one of our many adult dance or fitness classes. Our studios offer various classes throughout the week catering for all ages & abilities, providing all of the  benefits listed below and more! Adult aerial hoop classes offer a fantastic way to improve your overall health and well-being. There are so many reasons why you might consider joining: Aerial helps enhance flexibility, which is essential for maintaining joint health and preventing injuries. You’ll work on balance and coordination through various movements, leading to better overall body control.  Aerial engages multiple muscle groups, helping you build strength and endurance.  From hand-eye coordination to core strength, aerial provides a comprehensive workout. Physical activity can reduce stress and boost mental well-being.  Following a structured program allows you to measure progress and feel a sense of achievement. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, adult aerial provides a fun and rewarding experience.

ADULT TAP

Participants welcome to stand too! This is a gentle exercise  class for adults of any age or ability. No sweating, puffing or panting, just great music and easy to do movement  which helps keep your body active. Perfect if you have limited physical mobility. This class aids strength building, increased range of motion and improves posture. Coffee or tea in the Jam Street Café included in the class price so stay for a natter after class! We believe everyone has a right to feel good at any age.

Tap dancing classes for adults can be a delightful and rewarding experience. Dancing is a great way to stay active and improve your cardiovascular health. The rhythmic footwork engages various muscle groups, enhancing strength, flexibility, and coordination.Jam Street is a  supportive and friendly environment where you can connect with fellow dancers. Learning tap routines involves memorizing steps, timing, and sequences. This mental challenge can keep your brain sharp and improve cognitive function. If you’ve ever admired classic movie musicals or Broadway shows, tap dancing lets you experience that magic firsthand. It’s a joyful and nostalgic art form.

Dancing is great for the heart and muscles as well as improving your flexibility, reducing stress and keeps your joints moving. It can also help increase your daily energy levels which in turn can aid with other daily activities making them much more enjoyable! Adult classes can offer a great place to socialise, you can make new friends at any age and this leads to greater overall happiness and less stress!
